The ELE7082 HDMI extender boosts audio/video transmissions distance up to 200ft in HDTV 1080i format or 130 ft at full HD (1080p). When using single, low cost Cat-5/5ep/6 UTP cable, you can easily extend HDTV sources from DVD players, Blu-Ray players, PS3s, PCs, and any other source that’s compliant with TMDS display monitors with TMDS display monitors including HDMI enabled TV sets or LCD PC monitors.
This cost effective solution allows HDCP compliant DVD players or PS3s to transmit high quality video and audio at a greater distance at a minimal cost. The ELE7082 includes two units – a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is used to transfer the HDMI signals input as well as carry the signals through a single CAT-5/5e/6 cable.
The transmitter is responsible for equalizing transferred HDMI multimedia data. The transmission distance between the sending and receiving units can reach 130 feet using cat6 at a full (1080p). EQ settings are automatically adjusted, thus optimizing the transmission distance between HDMI source and display.
One of the great advantages this HD Extender has over the rest is that this unit’s dongle feature allows you to convert your category cable to HDMI without using an additional HDMI cable, so there’s no need for power at the receiving end either. The ELE7082 eliminates the big bulky power packs behind the television altogether.
